How it worksMIP projects the brightest pixel (voxel) in each layer of 3D data onto a single 2D image. This allows geologists to "see through" dense 3D data to interpret the details of high-grade cores.This mode is available in the Point form window, on the Point tab.The gif image below shows the result of this tool. On the left is the mode with the option ON, and on the right is the mode with the option OFF.
As you can see, on the left the values with higher gold content (more red) are constantly in the foreground.
