Filtering is one of the most useful tools for investigating your data. Previously, if you did not want to save a filter but wanted to create a quick filter on a layer, you had to create one and use it as "0." However, navigating to another layer and applying a different filter without saving meant you had to change the "0" filter you created earlier or save it to have it as a different filter.
Now, in versions after 24.5.355, you can utilize filter expressions to quickly filter several different layers without saving them.
For example, if you want to filter your assay without saving a filter, simply click on the expression, build your filter, and embed it in your form. This way, you are not spending time saving a filter, and you can apply it to other layers without overwriting this filter, as long as you use the embed option. This approach allows for efficient and flexible data examination
