If you have a number of wireframes that are all in a default colour (Fig. 1), you may be looking for a way to quickly add a colour set for better visualisation.
Figure 1: Wireframes loaded in Vizex with a default colour.
The easiest way would be to apply a new colour set to the wireframe set. Double-click Wireframe in the Vizex Layer Types pane and choose your wireframe set (Fig. 2):
Figure 2: Opening the Display Wireframe and selecting a wireframe set.
In the Display tab, turn on 3D Colour Coding, select Name as the attribute, choose Text as the colour set type then right-click next to the colour set form icon to open the Edit Colour Sets form. Click on assign then press OK (Fig. 3):
Figure 3: Opening the Assign tool in the Colour Set form.
Press the icon highlighted below to move all of your wireframe to the Text box on the right then press OK to populate all of your wireframe names in the colour set (Fig. 4):
Figure 4: Assigning lithologies to the colour set.
From here, you have two options; 1) press the Select button under Palette to choose a colour palette you like (Fig. 5) or 2) Right click in the Label column and press Fill With Random Colours (Fig.6):
Figure 5: Option 1 - choosing a Random colour palette to apply to your colour set.
Figure 6: Option 2 - Rich-click and press Fill With Random Colours.
Your wireframes will now be loaded with this colour set applied (Fig. 7).
