Ensure your date, time, time zone, and region settings are correct
You can do this by going to Windows Settings, Time & language > Date & time. If your settings are correct, follow the steps below to synchronise your settings.
Manually synchronise date, time, and time zone
- Go to Date & Time in Windows Settings
- Turn off Set time zone automatically
- Turn off Set time automatically
- Click Set the date & time manually
- Set date to yesterday, leave time the same
- Restart your device
- Go to Date & Time in Windows Settings
- Turn on Set time automatically
- Turn on Set time zone automatically
- Click Sync now and close the Settings window
- Try to use your licence again. If you continue to get the Clock Skew error, run the Reset System Clock Tool using the below instructions.
Run the Reset System Clock Tool
- Download the Reset System Clock Tool - Click here to download
- Extract the folder into your Downloads folder by selecting it, then clicking Extract all.
- Launch Command Prompt, by clicking Start, typing CMD, then pressing Enter on your keyboard.
- Type in "cd", space, the file path of the location of the tool, then press Enter on your keyboard.
cd C:\Users\USERNAME\Downloads\lmxresetsystemclock - Run the tool by typing or copy and pasting the below command, then press Enter on your keyboard.
lmxresetsystemclock.exe
- There will be a short pause while the tool runs, then you'll get a result.
- If the number of fixes shows "1" or more, try to use your licence again. If you get an error or need further assistance, please contact support.
