How to reserve a seat for a specific user on a floating licence.

Reserving a seat on a floating license means assigning a seat from the pool to a specific user—no one else will be able to use that seat except them.

Who can reserve a seat on the licence?

• Users with the Admin role
• Users with the Manager role
• Users with Manage permission on the licence

To reserve a seat:

1. Go to Micromine Nexus → Licences

    2. Click on the floating licence.

    3. Go to the 'View Access' page for this licence.

A seat can be reserved for anyone who has Use permission on the licence. The Reserve checkbox will only be visible for Admins, Full users, or for users with Use permission explicitly granted.

When the checkbox is selected, it means the seat is reserved for that user.
