Calculation of average content via the Report Generator tool

Using the Report Generator tool to calculate average grade per well. The tool is located in the File main menu, in the Report subgroup.

You fill in the input file. This is the assay file. Fill in the table as indicated in the picture. In the grouping, add a field and select a column hole_id. Write any abbreviation in the column labels, in my case, DD.

Filling in Field Mapping.  Add three fields, Au, depth_from and depth_to. Make sure to spell out the field name. Select an aggregate function, for Au – AVERAGE, for depth_from – FIRST,  for  depth_to – LAST. Don't forget to check the Weighting (LENGTH).

In the Output tab, name the File and check the Auto open file for editing.

Once filled in, click on Run!

Thus, using the Report Generator tool, we can calculate the average grade for the entire well interval.
