Micromine Origin & Beyond offers three methods to move, rotate, copy or shift a wireframe. These methods range from entirely interactive (in Vizex) to using a form to input the wireframe and parameters. This article will explain the process of using the three following tools: 1) Move/Rotate Wireframe (Wireframe | Editing | Move/Rotate), 2) Copy/Move Wireframe (Wireframe | Editing | Copy/Move Wireframe) and 3) Move (Shift) Wireframe (Wireframe | Editing | Move (Shift)).
Move/Rotate Wireframe
This tool is the most interactive way of moving your wireframes. This tool relies on the user to click and drag in Vizex to move the wireframe and rotate it around its axes. Once you have opened the tool, you'll see 4 colours: grey, green, red and blue which denote the wireframes centre of rotation, y-axis, x-axis and z-axis respectively. Figure 1 is a GIF showing this tool in action.

Copy/Move Wireframe
The Copy/Move Wireframe tool can be opened via the ribbon or by right-clicking on a wireframe and pressing Copy/Move Wireframe.
Moving wireframes with this tool requires the user to input parameters into the form. The three move modes available are Perpendicular Distance, XYZ Components and Azimuth/Inclination/Distance. This tool also has three output choices which are Move, Copy and Replicate. Move will overwrite the existing wireframe, Copy will create a new wireframe and Replicate will create a number of new wireframes with a user-defined prefix.
Move (Shift) Wireframe
The Move (Shift) Wireframe tool is essentially a more basic version of the Copy/Move tool and only offers options to move by East, North and Z parameters. Similar to the previous tool, you can choose to overwrite the input wireframe or create a moved copy. This tool is the only one of the three that can be used in a macro; the other two are designed to be more interactive.
