Downsample Data .las file

A .Las files usually contains many points that need to be imported for further work.

This can be done immediately upon import using the function Reduce number of points to filling the reduced number of points in millions.
An example of importing a file containing about five and a half million points:

If you need to reduce the number of point clouds relative to three dimensional, use the function Design – Point- Downsample Points:

Halving in three dimensional

we get;

In the Properties window we will see the number of points, which has decreased by half
