How to create a memory dump file

In particularly difficult cases, when the Micromine program does not respond, it may be necessary to create a memory dump file. Which will help our world's best programmers understand what the program does.
 
Follow the steps below to do so:
 

1. Start Micromine as usual and while it is "hanging" proceed to the next step to create the dump file.
2. Start Task Manager. To do this, right-click on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen and select Task Manager.
   
   
   
   
3. In Task Manager, click the Details tab, then type the two letters "mm" at the top of the screen. Find the "mmwin.exe" process, right-click on it and select the "Create memory dump file" command.
   
   
   
   
4. Once the dump file has been created, click the Open file location button.
   
   
   
   
5. Then zip this file.
   
   
   
   
6. As a rule, even an archived file is very large, so it is better to use FTP or cloud storage to send it.
