In particularly difficult cases, when the Micromine program does not respond, it may be necessary to create a memory dump file. Which will help our world's best programmers understand what the program does.
Follow the steps below to do so:
- Start Micromine as usual and while it is "hanging" proceed to the next step to create the dump file.
- Start Task Manager. To do this, right-click on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen and select Task Manager.
- In Task Manager, click the Details tab, then type the two letters "mm" at the top of the screen. Find the "mmwin.exe" process, right-click on it and select the "Create memory dump file" command.
- Once the dump file has been created, click the Open file location button.
- Then zip this file.
- As a rule, even an archived file is very large, so it is better to use FTP or cloud storage to send it.
