Step 1: Draw a New String in Plan View

Open the plan view in Vizex.

Press N to activate the drawing tool.

Draw a new string with your desired orientation, for example, aligning it along drillhole
Step 2: Replicate the String with Desired Spacing

Select the string you just created in Vizex.

Right-click on it and choose the Copy/Move option.

Specify the direction and spacing for replication. For example:

Set 25m spacing in the Y direction.

Input the number of replicates to cover your area.

Preview the replicated strings in plan view as grey dashed lines.

Click OK to apply the replication and save the result as a string file.
Step 3: Use the Section Control File Tool

Navigate to File > Section Control File > From String File

Use the tool to define sections at right angles to the strings saved earlier. For example, for vertical section. the Inclination should be 0. The user can define the away, towards, step parameters for the sections and also the aspect ratio to be used when visualising or converting the section control file.
- The section control file will be saved in the Vizex tab of the Sections panel.
