Let's say you want to visualize the average structure of a vein to illustrate foliation trend.
In Vizex, navigate to Design > Create > Structure > Create Disk. Choose a point that approximately represents the mean coordinates of that population. Now, you can adjust the real mean dip and dip direction. If you plan to create different trends, you can code your features accordingly. Once your disks are configured, save the layer as a .mmstruct file.
Next, we'll utilize "Create Trend from Structure Data" in the implicit modeling tab. In the form, select the structure data (.mmstruct) - the average structure of the vein we created earlier - to generate a trend. Use a value for anisotropy strength, which represents the ratio between the x/y axis and z axis. Define the extent and grid size, which determine the space between the disks. Choose an output location and run the process to generate a structural trend for your zone.
