To rotate an entire block model from the origin, follow the standard procedure as you would with a Create Blank Block Model tool. At this stage, no rotation needs to be applied, as our goal is to create an orthogonal block model.
Next, we aim to rotate points around our initial point (X=0 and Y=0) to establish a rotated grid. Navigate to the Plane Grids Conversion window, select the starting point (the origin), and choose the desired rotation, for instance, -40 degrees. In the Convert File tab, opt for the blank block model previously created. Ensure that when choosing another output, you copy attributes from the input file. This ensures that the block size transfers seamlessly, but if not, adjustments can be made afterward.
Now, the task is to create and rotate block edges in alignment with the earlier applied grid rotation. Access the Create Block Model from Imported Data feature, select the output from the previous step, and apply the rotation (-40). This rotation affects the edges of the block models. Additionally, choose the appropriate block size field, copying the value from the preceding step for consistency.
